Safeguarding

At the British Elite Athletes Association, we are committed to ensuring all athletes are engaging in safe sport, free from harm.
Safeguarding values sit at the core of our organisation and form the basis of every decision we make. We seek to champion safeguarding throughout the high-performance sport system, using our voice to proactively address and remedy concerns.

Our support staff are highly trained safeguarding experts and can help athletes understand what to do if they experience poor practice or abusive behaviours.

We work closely with partner organisations to hold ourselves accountable to the highest standards, ensuring our knowledge, practice and training is kept up to date.
