We regularly deliver in-person or remote inductions to introduce ourselves to athletes new to the World Class Programme.
These help to establish relationships between Athlete Support Managers and their sports, and ensure athletes know how and when to turn to us.
Our highly-trained team can review sports’ policies to ensure an athlete-friendly perspective is kept at their centre. Because of the experience our staff have, we help to highlight potential gaps or areas of improvement in policies and can confidently say whether or not they have been properly followed when athletes request help with an appeal.
This, and our independent observation of selection decisions, helps athletes to feel confident that they’ve been treated fairly, and sports to operate with robust policies in place.
Our staff often sit as independent observers in selection decisions, giving governing bodies confidence that their policies have been properly followed and helping with transparency in sport.
We currently deliver two workshops to sports and their athletes: one on selection and appeals and one on the high-performance system. These are bespoke presentations tailored to each sport to ensure athletes understand crucial topics.
Run by our expert team, we break down complicated policies and concepts to help education across the system.
